I make work by hand, from welded pieces to mixed-media wooden furniture and glass inclusions to 2-dimensional art. Across all of it, I maintain an authentic voice while shaping commissioned pieces in close collaboration with others. Commissions are client-guided, with approvals at key stages. Whether the medium is metal, wood, glass, ink, or paint, the work stays purposeful.
I offer hands-on welding instruction- in the shop or on site- rooted in real-world experience. Lessons cover safety, fundamentals, and proper technique, with skills that translate directly to shop and field work. The goal is a straightforward, supportive environment where people build confidence, competence, and an understanding of the process.
I offer reliable welding repair and small to medium scale fabrication for home, farm, and recreation, with work ranging from custom shop pieces to industrial applications. I take pride in careful assessments and quality work. Limited on-site repairs available.

About Anne
Anne Alexander is a Tioga County native, creating mostly nature-inspired metal artwork in various styles - from steel sculpture and furniture to fire pits and large wall pieces. Her work also includes 2-dimensional pieces such as linocut prints, watercolors, and acrylics. Her material of choice is reclaimed steel, sourced from scrapyards and pulled out of treelines, carrying the marks of prior use into new work. She draws inspiration from time spent traveling, hiking the surrounding hills, and talking with the people who live there.
She lives in Nelson with her trophy husband and their two precocious daughters.
